Any terms that are not defined therein shall be construed in accordance with generally accepted commercial practices.

Article 3. User Rights and Obligations

3.1 All IP rights, including but not limited to copyrights and any other proprietary rights, in and to the game-related IP are the exclusive property of the Company. The Company grants users a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, and non-sublicensable license to use the IP strictly within the scope expressly permitted under this Guide. (2) Copyright and Attribution Requirements

a. Users shall clearly indicate the Company’s copyright ownership in all UGC by including an appropriate copyright notice and source attribution.

(3) Prohibition on Use of Unreleased Materials

a. Users shall not acquire, use, or disclose any unofficial, unreleased, or confidential IP of the Company or its games without express prior consent.

b. Users shall not excessively alter, edit, or disassemble the IP in a manner that results in isolated use of individual components outside their intended context.

c. Users shall not directly replicate or recreate the IP using methods, such as scanning or tracing.

(5) Prohibition on Inappropriate UGC

Users shall not create or publish any UGC that:

a. Violates any applicable laws or infringes upon the intellectual property rights, portrait rights, publicity rights, personal information, or any other rights of a third party;

Users seeking such exceptions shall contact the Company in advance via the customer service center at game_service@linegames.support.

c. Corporate entities, organizations, or other legal entities are, in principle, prohibited from using the IP or creating UGC. d. Users shall comply with all applicable laws, including the Copyright Act, as well as the Terms of Service, Operational Policies, and this Guide, when using the IP for the purpose of creating, disclosing, or distributing UGC. Any use of the Company’s IP or game IP in violation of this Guide shall be deemed an infringement of the Company’s IP rights, and the Company reserves the right to pursue civil and/or criminal legal action against the user.

Article 4. Sanctions for Violations

4.1 In the event of any of the following circumstances, the Company may request the suspension, deletion, or blocking of the creation, disclosure, distribution, or use of the relevant UGC. Upon receipt of such request, the user shall promptly comply and immediately cease the creation, disclosure, distribution, or use of the UGC in question, and shall take all necessary measures to delete or block such content without delay:

(1) Where the UGC, whether completed or in the process of being created, and created, disclosed, or distributed using the Company’s IP, is found to be in violation of applicable laws or regulations, the Terms of Service, the applicable Operational Policies, or this Guide; or

(2) Where an objection or claim is raised by a third party alleging that the UGC created using the IP infringes upon the third party’s copyright or other rights, and the Company, at its reasonable discretion, determines that such objection or claim has merit.

4.2 In addition to the foregoing measures, the Company reserves the right to take legal action or implement sanctions in accordance with the Copyright Act and other applicable laws and regulations in cases involving copyright infringement or other violations of IP or third-party rights.

Article 5. Compensation for Damages

5.1 In the event that the Company incurs any loss or damage as a result of a user’s breach of any provision of this Guide, the user shall be liable to fully indemnify and compensate the Company for all such losses or damages.

5.2 If a user, in the course of creating, disclosing, distributing, or otherwise using UGC, engages in any unlawful act or violates any provision of this Guide, and such conduct gives rise to claims, demands, lawsuits, or other legal proceedings initiated by a third party against the Company, the user shall, at their sole expense and responsibility, indemnify, defend, and hold the Company harmless from and against any and all such claims. In the event the Company is not fully indemnified and consequently suffers any loss or damage, the user shall be liable for the full amount of such loss or damage incurred by the Company.

Article 6. Limitation of Liability

6.1 All responsibility and liability for any UGC created by a user shall rest solely with the respective user. The Company shall not bear any responsibility or liability in connection with such UGC.

6.2 In the event of any dispute, claim, or controversy between users arising out of or relating to the creation, distribution, or use of UGC, such dispute shall be resolved solely between the users involved. The Company shall have no obligation to intervene in, mediate, or otherwise participate in the resolution of any such dispute, nor shall the Company bear any liability whatsoever in connection therewith.

6.3 This Guide may be amended by the Company upon prior notice. Following the effective date of any such amendment, all users shall be required to use the Company’s IP in accordance with the revised Guide. The Company shall not be liable for any damages, losses, or other adverse consequences arising from a user’s failure to review or comply with the amended Guide.
